Individual Note: They were the only Jewish Family in Marxheim - a small village about half way between Frankfurt and
Wiesbaden. He went to the cattle markets with his brothers who lived in nearby towns. He had a
large pen and a stable in the back of his property, where he would keep 4 - 5 head of cattle, dairy or
work cows. Farmers would come and buy cows from him. When they gave birth, he would go and
help the farmer.
